Bring a DEFRA office to Melton

For months, I’ve been campaigning to bring a Department for Food, Agriculture and Rural Affairs office to Melton Mowbray, the Rural Capital of Food.

 

The decision about DEFRA’s new home is due to made very soon.

 

So far, I’ve had an amazing response from residents, Melton Borough Council and from major businesses in our community.

 

It’s clear that Melton can be DEFRA’s new home - we have the pedigree, the infrastructure and the office space.

 

Now, I need your help. Help me show that Melton would welcome DEFRA to our town with open arms.
