Mobile phone coverage

Alicia Kearns MP has been in contact with the CEO of 02 to investigate whether any action can be taken to improve mobile phone signal in the 'notspots' identified in her recent survey.

As a result, 02 has recently completed 5G upgrades at the following areas locally:

  • Cottesmore
  • Morcott
  • Northgate, Oakham
  • Pilton
  • Hallaton
  • Billesdon
  • Noseley
  • Tilton on the Hill
  • Ketton

Additionally, 02 in the last 18 months has completed a 4G capacity upgrade to its Whissendine site, 4G and 5G upgrades to their Grantham site, at a new site as part of the Shared Rural Network Program in Edenham, and 4G and 5G upgrades to its Stamford site.
