Alicia Kearns has announced the winners of her sixth annual Christmas card competition. The theme for this year’s competition was ‘My Perfect Christmas Tree’.
The winners and runners-up are as follows:

Runners-up:
- Logan from Brooke Hill Academy

- Sofia from Malcolm Sargent Primary School
The joint winning designs will be printed and sent out as Alicia’s official Christmas card, with the runner-up designs also featured inside.
Alicia presented the winners with Parliament’s Speaker teddy bear, and the runners-up received a Parliament teddy bear. The prizes were paid for by Alicia.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
“There’s no better eyes to see Christmas through those of our children. Judging their wonderful entries is always one of my favourite traditions in the run up to Christmas – although I have to admit I also find it one of the toughest as they’re all so good I become indecisive.
“But more than seeing the designs, getting to surprise the children with their special Parliament teddy bears as a thank you is the most heart warming of all. The surprise and joy on their faces is the embodiment of Christmas.”
