Alicia Kearns MP has delivered the 'Stop the Leicester City Landgrab' Petition to the Mayor of Leicester with fellow MPs Peter Bedford and Neil O’Brien.
Over 12,000 people signed the petition, demonstrating the depth of feeling across Harborough, the Harborough Villages, Oadby and Wigston, and Blaby against an expanded Leicester City.
Alicia, Peter, and Neil will also be delivering a copy of the petition to the Government to demonstrate why they should reject any attempt by Leicester City Council to takeover the surrounding areas.
