Alicia Kearns MP has brought together Parish Councils, the Environment Agency and Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Rutland's Resilience Team for her annual Flooding Summits.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"It was really positive to see the great progress made in some villages where the community has taken forward the initiatives we had discussed last year, and have made their Parishes more resilient.
"We covered a lot of different concerns and priorities, and I’m now working with my team to connect them with those who can help, get them the answers they need, or get the action delivered that residents need to make our communities more resilient ahead of flooding season."
