Alicia Kearns MP joined the Leicestershire and Rutland Rural Policing Team on patrol and making visits to local farmers.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"This expert team is a real asset to local policing, and their record speaks for itself – in 2025 alone, they recovered stolen goods and vehicles worth £1,405,150 – what an incredible achievement!
"On the day I joined them they met a local farmer who’d had a theft overnight. They recovered the vehicle the next day.
"I’m proud my campaign to create this team was successful, and I was later able to help secure new 4x4 vehicles to help them carry out their vital work to tackle rural crime."
