Alicia Kearns MP Opens Final Voting for Rutland & Melton's Favourite Independent Shop Awards 2022

Alicia Kearns MP has opened final voting for her annual competition to find Rutland and Melton's favourite independent shop.

This year's competition has been a great success, with nearly seven hundred nominations submitted.

There are 15 categories for this year's competition - cast your vote here. Voting closes on 5th February 2023 and the winners will be announced later that month.

Alicia Kearns MP, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Melton said: 

“I am delighted to announce that final voting for Rutland and Melton’s Favourite Independent Shop Awards 2022 have now opened. We are so lucky to have an incredible number of independent shops across Rutland, Melton, the Vale and Harborough villages and this is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate these wonderful businesses and their contribution to our local economy. The competition seeks not just to celebrate, but to help raise the profile of our wonderful independent shops. Good luck to all those nominated!"
