Alicia Kearns MP Opposes £2m Plans For Private Security Patrols

Alicia Kearns MP has raised concerns about the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Police and Crime Commissioner's plans to spend £2m on private security patrols with no policing powers and no accountability.

Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:

"Effective policing depends on the trust, accountability and community consent.

"I've written to demand answers - and I'll keep pushing until we get them."
