Alicia Kearns MP Raises Urgent Question on the Assault at the Chinese Consulate

Alicia Kearns MP raised an Urgent Question following the assault of a Hong Kong Protestor by the Chinese Consul General in Manchester.

The protestor suffered grievous bodily harm while campaigning for human rights in Hong Kong and was hospitalised as a result.

During the Urgent Question, Alicia called upon the Minister to prosecute or expel any Chinese officials involved in the assault within the week.
