Alicia Kearns MP has unveiled a plaque for the Stamford Civic Society's new welcome arch at the bottom of Stamford's Horseshoe Lane.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"It was an honour to unveil a plaque to mark the Stamford Civic Society's new arch.
"This 15 month project was inspired from students at Stamford College and has been a true community effort.
"What a wonderful addition to our town for Stamford's many visitors!"
