At Justice Questions Alicia Kearns MP highlighted the case of a paedophile who has been moved to an open prison, despite having another 7 years of his sentence to serve.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"I’m horrified that a paedophile has been moved to an open prison - allowed to roam our communities freely - despite still having another 7 years of his sentence to serve.
"I have demanded the Government urgently review how this unacceptable decision has been made and ensure this is not repeated elsewhere."
