Barrowden Village Hall Demolition Completed

The demolition of Barrowden Village Hall is now complete and the building of the new community hub has begun.

The first photo is after the demolition and the second photo is a couple of weeks later as the foundations are being laid.

Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:

"It’s great to see the demolition of Barrowden Village Hall is now complete and the new foundations have been laid to make way for the exciting new community hub!

"The Barrowden Village Hall Development Group and I secured £300,000 Community Ownership Funding from the Government last year, so I’m delighted to see progress on the project every time I drop by Barrowden Village Shop!"
