Following pressure from Lincolnshire MPs, the Government has delivered a funding package to Lincolnshire Police which means they are no longer on the brink of bankruptcy.

You can read the letter from Lincolnshire Police outlining its financial situation on Alicia's Facebook.

Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:

"The Government’s National Insurance rise crippled the Force, it had threatened to be the first Police force to go bankrupt in the history of English police forces, so it is good news they now have the funding needed to protect residents of Lincolnshire."
