Following changes to LNER’s new East Coast Main Line Timetable, many residents raised concerns about the reduced peak-time capacity at Peterborough. Alicia has been in ongoing discussions with them about it since early November.
After raising this with LNER and thanks to public frustration, they have introduced a new 07:43 service to London.
This will add nearly 600 seats every weekday morning, helping to spread demand and provide additional options for commuters.
Alicia will be meeting with LNER later this month to discuss further timetable changes and the development of a more flexible, fairly-priced season ticket option for hybrid workers
