Rutland's new on-demand bus service has been used by more than 5000 passengers in the first six months of operating.
Journeys can be booked through the CallConnect app, online, or by phone. You can find out more here.
Alicia Kearns, Member of Parliament for Rutland and Stamford, said:
"Since the on-demand bus service I secured began operating in March 2025, our buses have carried more than 5,200 passengers.
"Not only does every village in Rutland benefit from buses for the first time, but they will also take you to Gates’ Garden Centre and into Melton via a few villages on the way! Most residents have access to free bus travel until March 2026, so do give it a try.
"This is all thanks to just one part of the £23.7 million in Levelling Up Funding I secured with the then Conservative-led Rutland County Council a few years ago. I’m proud to have delivered on my promise to improve our local transport provision."
