World Stroke Day: Know the Signs

Today is World Stroke Day, and it's an opportunity to raise awareness of the signs of this disease which is the third biggest killer in the UK.

I lost my father from a stroke, he'd had a series of mini strokes which his doctor failed to diagnose, and died of a catastrophic stroke which took him from me at the age of 56.

It was preventable. He didn't need to die.

Please read the poster below, and if you're worried you or a loved one are at risk of stroke, don't let your doctor dismiss your concerns as ours did; knowledge can save your life #WorldStrokeDay.
