If you are a constituent, I would love to welcome you on a tour of the Houses of Parliament (also known as the Palace of Westminster). The tour is full of fascinating information regarding the history of the buildings, how Parliament works, what it’s like to work there day-to-day and I'll also meet you during your tour.

The UK Parliament is the oldest Parliament in the world, and its first ever meeting was convened on the current Westminster site in 1265. The buildings you see today, however, were completed in 1870, following a fire which destroyed much of the old Palace complex. These 'new' buildings (especially the interiors) are some of the most fantastic in the world, and on Andrew's tour, you will be able to view, (among other rooms), Westminster Hall, the Lords' Chamber, the Commons' Chamber, and the Queen's Robing Room.

Tours take place once a month on a late afternoon on a Thursday as Parliament will have stopped sitting enabling you to visit all parts of Parliament. They will commence in September, and we will write to, or ring, you to offer the dates available.
