Leicestershire and Rutland Police have exceeded the Government's Recruitment Target, increasing by 340 officers since 2019.
This rise is part of the Government's Police Uplift Programme, where the Government has successfully beaten our target to recruit 20,000 officers since 2019.
This means that we now have the highest number of Police Officers ever in England.
