Leicestershire County Council Put Roadblock on MMDR

On 14th June 2021, Leicestershire County Council announced that it is considering rejecting £15m of Government funding for the Southern stretch of the MMDR.

I don't consider this to be acceptable. So I've been working with extensively behind the scenes over the last year to save the MMDR in full.

And I am pushing Leicestershire County Council to make the right decision, and get behind the MMDR, for the people of Melton.
